The Senior Helpers Adelaide North story began in a very personal way. Christine and Angelyn met during one of the most difficult periods in their lives — at a domestic violence support group. Through shared experiences, they formed a deep friendship that grew into a partnership built on resilience, integrity, and purpose.

Together, they pursued education, rebuilt their lives, and found strength in giving back to the community. Angelyn became a qualified social worker, driven by her own migrant experience and passion for justice. Christine, with her background in nursing in Philippines, joined Angelyn in building the foundations of Senior Helpers Adelaide Central.

Now, through Senior Helpers Adelaide North, they are expanding their reach — creating opportunities not just for clients, but also for migrants and Australians seeking meaningful work with the right training and guidance.
