Senior Helpers Whitehorse & Eastern Suburbs's Story

In 2014, John and Mia took a brave step, moving from Brisbane to Melbourne and settling in the City of Whitehorse. Right from the start, they embraced the community that has since become their home. Then, in 2024, they took another leap of faith and opened Senior Helpers Whitehorse and Eastern Suburbs.

For them, it’s all about giving back to a place they truly value and care for and that is by offering and providing compassionate high-quality care to those who need it most.

Together with their dedicated team, Mia and John understand that embarking on a care journey can feel overwhelming for families. Their goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. With the support of their experienced and compassionate staff, they are committed to ensuring that families receive the care and support they deserve. The team at Senior Helpers Whitehorse and Eastern Suburbs is here to guide and assist you every step of the way.

Our leadership team shares the Senior Helpers vision and is committed to demonstrating the company’s values, setting a new standard for in-home care and customer service.

Mia ImperialManaging Director

Mia brings over 14 years of experience in aged care, community and disability support, with a solid clinical background gained overseas.

She is passionate about helping others and takes the time to listen, ensuring that each person feels heard, valued, and supported. Mia goes above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she cares for, supporting people by connecting with them on a personal level.

Mia also has a deep interest in dementia care and mental health, areas in which she is committed to making a positive impact.

John ImperialSales & Marketing Manager

John was raised with a deep respect for elders, which has shaped his compassionate approach to helping people.

He takes great joy in listening to people’s stories and building meaningful connections, always offering support and understanding.

With over 20 years of experience in the Creative Industry, John brings a wealth of creativity and strategic insight to everything he does. He also has a deep passion for art, which fuels his ability to think outside the box and approach challenges with a fresh perspective.
